Lamu Governor Issa Timamy was joined by Ambassador Qusai Rashed Al-Farhan of Kuwait during the official opening of the lab.

Timamy noted the state-of-the-art facility marks a significant milestone in healthcare vision, aiming to provide accessible services to the community.
The laboratory is set to serve as a crucial reference point for the county, offering support to various hospitals by providing precise tests for microorganisms, and genetic mutations linked to infectious diseases and cancers, as well as conducting paternity tests.

During the launch event, the Ambassador commended Governor Timamy's dedication to establishing this advanced laboratory, emphasising its role in delivering reliable and accurate diagnostics.
